NETIO PowerBOX 3Px features 3 electrical sockets connected to a LAN. Each socket can be individually switched on or off over the web interface.

Open API enables integration into third-party systems using a wide range of protocols (JSON, Modbus/TCP, SNMP, MQTT, Telnet, ..).

NETIO PowerBOX 3Px comes in several variants with different electrical socket types. For instance, PowerBOX 3PF features Type F - DE Schuko sockets used in most of Europe. UK and FR versions are also available.

PowerBOX 3Px is a professional product. The output relays switch when the voltage is zero (ZVS), and the product operates in a wide temperature range of -20°C to +65°C. The PowerUp state of each output is configurable, and the IOC function protects against momentary switching during FW upgrades.

With the NETIO Cloud service, the outputs can be controlled from anywhere. The NETIO Cloud service is provided for a fee but it uses SSL security and servers in Europe.

NETIO PowerBOX 3Px is a power socket device with 3 outputs controlled over a LAN. Each individual output can be switched on and off in the web intereface.

Open API enables integration into third-party systems using a wide range of protocols (JSON, Modbus/TCP, SNMP, MQTT, Telnet, ..).

With the NETIO Cloud service, the outputs can be controlled from anywhere. The NETIO Cloud service is provided for a fee but it uses SSL security and servers in Europe.

NETIO PowerBOX 3Px smart electrical sockets can be always controlled over the Web, and support the NETIO Cloud. For Open API communication, M2M protocol can be chosen from among the following:

Professional product

The LAN-controlled PowerBOX 3Px power socket device is designed for professional use.

  • Wide range of operating temperatures from -20°C to +65°C 
  • IOC function (Independent Output Control) – states of outputs are not affected by LAN connection failures, network layer restarts, or firmware upgrades
  • PowerUp state – the state of the outputs after the device is powered up is configurable (On/Off/Last)
  • Easily mountable on a wall or a DIN rail
  • ZVS – for switching an appliance on and off more frequently than a few times a day, ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) support becomes important in the long term. ZVS makes sure that the output relay switches when the immediate voltage is zero.
  • The Scheduler function - time based switching

ZVS reduces the stress on the appliances connected to the outputs and prolongs their lifetime. It is particularly suitable for electrical appliances with a high inrush current. A high inrush current is typical for switching power supplies common in IT as well as in LED lighting and other application areas.
